The links open your email application; this website has no form pretending to send messages.
Reading and hosting
Cloudflare serves the website over HTTPS. It receives data needed to deliver pages, including IP addresses and request information. Para Tu Rato includes no third-party analytics, active advertising, remote fonts or profiles that change article content.
Videos
Trailers load when you press play. The website uses YouTube; the local copy uses the official video hosted on Steam. On playback, the provider receives your IP address and connection data and applies its own privacy terms. Playback and provider connections do not begin before you press play.
Saved reading
Saved articles stay in this browser's storage, under keys beginning with claro_v1_. They are not sent to the publisher or synced to other devices. The erase button removes that local data.
Shared votes
When voting is enabled, the first vote creates a cookie called __Host-claro_reader. It contains a signed random identifier, not your name or email. It expires after one year and uses Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict. Reading does not create this cookie. A browser is not a person: deleting the cookie or using another profile can create another identity.
Vote data and retention
Cloudflare D1 stores the random identifier, article, score, creation time and update time. Editing, withdrawing or restoring a score preserves its original date. Votes unchanged for five years are removed; the action history is kept for up to one year and duplicate-retry records for thirty days. Cleanup runs hourly in batches, so removal may be delayed.
Limits and technical records
The service limits writes and uses a signed IP fingerprint to reduce abuse. The application does not store IP addresses in vote tables. Counters are cleaned after two days; daily counters can span up to three days and cleanup can be delayed. Cloudflare also manages its own network and security records. Para Tu Rato error messages contain no votes, cookies or reader identifiers.
Withdrawal and losing the cookie
You can withdraw your score using the same browser when published articles are available. Erasing saved reading does not withdraw server votes or delete the cookie. If you lose the cookie, Para Tu Rato has no account to recover or identify your vote. Contact the publisher for other privacy requests.
Outside sources
Steam and other sources open only when you click their links. Their policies apply when you leave Para Tu Rato. They do not load automatically while reading an article here.
