Logitech PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE: what users appreciate and what bothers them
The adjustable click appeals; skate feel divides opinion. We compare player experiences and published tests, using the European model’s figures.
A click you can tune
Replacing a mouse should not feel like a €190 gamble. Logitech announced the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE on 23 September with a specific proposition: adjust when a click activates and how its feedback feels. Its Madrid presentation placed it around that price; the interesting question is what your hand gains, rather than how many numbers fit on the box.[1][2][3]
What people using it appreciate
HITS was already in the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE: the X3 does not introduce that system. It lets you adjust actuation and haptic feedback. Lars at ProSettings appreciates this customisation. Alfred-Keys, who says he paid for his unit and used the X3 for seven days, particularly likes its weight balance when lifting it. These specific experiences suggest buying questions; they are not a satisfaction survey.[2][4][5][7]
The drawbacks are under your fingers
That user dislikes the skates on his Artisan Zero and finds the side buttons soft. ProSettings also questions both details and the wheel feel. The agreement deserves attention, but does not make that pad, grip and those units representative of every setup. If you can check the feel in a shop, these details say more about your comfort than another DPI increase.[5][4]
Two figures to read carefully in Europe
ComputerBase distinguishes the 61-gram EMEA model from the 59 grams advertised elsewhere. It also places the stated 135-hour battery life at 1,000 Hz. Both wired and wireless operation offer 8,000 Hz, but not with that battery-life promise. The outlet also warns about the CPU cost of high polling: check how your game responds before choosing the maximum.[6]
What would justify changing
If your PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is comfortable, decide whether the balance or battery life you want warrants changing; HITS alone is not new compared with it. For a first purchase, compare grip, buttons and final price with alternatives. The X3 offers fine click adjustments, but the experiences consulted do not show that spending more guarantees better aim. An adjustment should solve a problem, rather than create one in your wallet.[5][6]
