AORUS RTX 5060 ARI: a GPU with personality, in the same performance class
The new edition combines themed design with an 8GB RTX 5060. We compare European tests and what to check against alternatives.
A new edition with a familiar chip
Gigabyte announced AORUS GeForce RTX 5060 ARI availability on 22 September. Its appeal includes styling inspired by the brand’s original character, with matching accessories. It remains an RTX 5060: the edition changes the presentation and implementation of the card, rather than introducing a different graphics architecture.[1]
The specifications beneath the design
The official reference has 8GB of GDDR7, one eight-pin connector and measures 329 × 128 × 40 mm. That size matters for a small case. The advertised clock is a manufacturer specification; raising it does not automatically raise frame rates by the same amount. The ARI name also does not add memory to the RTX 5060.[2]
The Romanian test finds a limited improvement
Antonio Spulber at GetGeek compares it with two other RTX 5060 cards he had tested and finds a small advantage in his game suite. His conclusion keeps it in the same performance class. This compares those units and settings, rather than proving that every ARI beats every other RTX 5060.[3]
Another test puts the design at the centre
Nenad Đorđević at SS Mods builds an open-frame ARI PC and observes little fan noise in that setup. He also uses upscaling and frame generation in game tests. His assessment includes the whole PC’s appearance: it should not be read as a GPU-only performance score or a silence guarantee in a closed case.[4]
A Spanish listing does not replace a usage account
The card appears on PcComponentes, but the consulted listing did not provide a retrievable owner-review text. Its indicators and review section also lacked consistent information from which to extract a rating. This analysis therefore uses the linked tests; we do not fill the gap with comments about models from another range.[5]
What to ask when comparing results
Check whether a test uses native resolution, upscaling or generated frames. Presenting more images can be useful, but does not alone describe how a game responds to your movements. Reduced detail settings also matter. A screenshot with a high counter tells only part of the experience; the settings complete the story.
Decide what the styling is worth to you
For a themed build, compare the final price with other RTX 5060 cards and decide what its design is worth to you. If gaming is the priority, start with your games and monitor and also compare other memory capacities. Choosing a card because you enjoy looking at it is valid; budget and performance should still fit when you close the case.
